Daily Announcements: The daily announcements from IMS are available in the news section of           our website. Office Depot - 5% Back to Schools Program Every time parents, students, and IMS supporters buy qualifying school supplies at Office Depot, IMS can receive credits equal to 5% of the qualifying purchases to use for Free Supplies.   Our number is 70085098.  However, if you don't have or remember our school's number, just ask that your purchases be credited to Independence Middle School.

If you’d like to join the PTSO, click the membership form link, print it, and send it in with your child. Checks may be made payable to IMS PTSO. Mark the envelope “PTSO Membership. PTSO Membership Form There will be a Lunch Link presentation on January 18th at IMS for any parents of 8th grade students that want to learn about the high school scheduling process that you and your child will go through. This event is not meant to take the place of the 9th grade parent night that will occur in the future, but is an opportunity to have a small group presentation and discussion about the process and procedures that occur. Counselors from the high school will be here to present and discuss this information. Lunch will be provided for you at this event. The lunch will last from 11:00 to Noon and time will be given for questions that may pertain to your child’s circumstances. Please be sure to register for this event so that a lunch can be provided for you. You can register by sending an email to Cindy Stalder at stalder.cindy@bpsd.org. The deadline for registering for this event is Monday, January 16th.
