Daily Announcements: The daily announcements from IMS are available in the news section of           our website. Office Depot - 5% Back to Schools Program Every time parents, students, and IMS supporters buy qualifying school supplies at Office Depot, IMS can receive credits equal to 5% of the qualifying purchases to use for Free Supplies.   Our number is 70085098.  However, if you don't have or remember our school's number, just ask that your purchases be credited to Independence Middle School.

If you’d like to join the PTSO, click the membership form link, print it, and send it in with your child. Checks may be made payable to IMS PTSO. Mark the envelope “PTSO Membership. PTSO Membership Form The February 9th PTSO meeting has been moved to February 16th at 7:00pm. The change is necessary because February 9th is 8th grade parent orientation at the high school. Attention 7th grade parents. Currently the PTSO board is comprised of all 8th  grade parents. We really need parents of current 7th graders to fill board positions for next year. It would be an easy transition if we could get a few of you to start now and learn what is involved in the operations of our PTSO. It is a nice way to stay involved and it doesn’t’ come with the time commitment of the elementary boards. If you are interested please contact any current board member.
