The session will provide:
  • An overview of the scheduling process at IMS.
  • Information about course offerings.
  • Tips to choose the best course for your child.
Technology                        January 16, 2008
The session will provide:
  • Education on the tools available through IMS to enhance your child's educational experience.
Testing                        February 20, 2008
The session will provide:
  • An overview of the reasons for testing.
  • Information about how we use the information from the tests.
  • Guidance on how to interpret your child's score.
Relational Aggression                        March 26, 2008
The session will provide:
  • Education about the social dynamic during the middle school years.
  • Information about interventions.
Homework Help


The HOTT (Homework Overtime Team) is a program open to students of every academic level who want to increase the self-discipline needed to complete their assignments.

HOTT meets after school on Mondays and Thursdays and there is a special HOTT bus to transport the students home at 4:00.

HOTT students meet in the cafeteria after school for a snack and then head to the library to work on new or incomplete assignments. The sessions are staffed by teachers and peer tutors.
